Bulgaria is situated in the South-Eastern Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula and its location is favorable for a longer winter season having a lot of snow. In the case of warmer weather, all resorts have snow cannons to give Mother Nature some help. Of course the artificial snow is less suitable for snowboarding while being almost fine for skiing :)
