Bansko opens on 1 December |

Ahead of schedule, Bansko opens on 1 December this year. This is 15 days before the official opening has been planned - 15 December.
The reason for this decision is the huge amount of snow fallen. At the highest Todorka peak, the snow is as high as 120 cm. This is much more there has been last year at any time.
The snow cover for the rest of the resorts in Bulgaria is also promising. The weather forecasts show more snow falls to come so there should be plenty of powder for freeriding.
