Here is a decent article from Daily Telegraph about winter ski resorts which mentions also Bulgaria:
"Bulgaria continues its drive to become a major ski destination with two new quad-chairs in the resort of Bansko, bringing the total number of lifts to 16.
Borovets, previously Bulgaria’s best-known resort, has a new eight-person gondola linking it to the town of Samokov as the first stage of a development plan.
Skiers arriving at Sofia still have to cope with Bulgaria’s potholed highways before they reach their destinations, but the country has announced plans to spend £6 billion on improvements over the next decade. |
